A question 20 years in the making.

In spite of my shown user date on this profile, I have actually been on this site for the better part of 20 years.

That said, I genuinely have no idea how to vote on a battle and have spent all of the time making excuses rather than telling the truth but now Eye am telling the truth. I need a beginner course for what constitutes a fair vote, what are the general criteria, and how to make a vote not seem biased as a few battles I would have voted in it would have seemed to have bias as I saw things that the other voters did not.

This is not overly important on the scale of shit but as one of the senior members here I shouldn't act like I have an overly massive cock but rather one that is moderately above average.
