Birdman was cool. Like a newish Fight club.. Without the fighting, and the club...
Um shit. I gotta wrack my brain. Ive watched lots tho. so If i remember i'll be back.
Yeah I saw birdma. Too a lot of people didn't like the ending I thought it was cool
I didnt not like the ending. I just didnt really get it. Dont know why he actually comitted suicide.. I assum,e to escape his schizophrenia. and the look up was a metaphor for birdman becoming an angel or something. It just wasnt 100% clear why she smiled and was happy lol. I suppose she was happy he was at peace with the universe finally. lol.
Also I saw boyhood, didn't like it one bit. Although I thought Ethan hawk was good
I want to watch that one, looked like an interesting concept. Movie doesnt look anything spectacular. But I think i'd be cool to see them age.
I suppose donnie darko was like that. But i watched it again and its still hard to grasp. He was like orchestrating his own death through time manipulation. fixing the error in the timeline that occurred when he dodged death. As he was supposed to die, i assume they were saying. Maybe i should look for a directors cut version. They might have had to cut a few scenes that would have made it easier to understand. Like more information on what that book says. lol.
Hmm seen so many movies this year its hard to keep track.
Just surfed my collection and a few i remember enjoying from last year were.
Transcendence
Time Lapse
Hector and the Search for Happiness
Lucy
Predestination
Pretty sure he didn't actually kill himself. Pretty sure it was him actually being able to fly. Mainly because she looked up, there was a shadow and he laughed. There wasn't anything below or in her reaction that pointed out he jumped. That was my opinion of the ending at least. We were all too high to really think about it or talk about it afterward lol. I wasn't a big fan of the movie though. I don't know. Wasn't at all what I expected and found myself bored through most of it.
The Rover is a pretty good one. Sin City: A Dame To Kill For was good except I wasn't a huge fan of the ending. I enjoyed the poetic ending in the first one much more. Gone Girl was pretty twisted, I liked it, but how can you not like a David Fincher movie? Umm. John Wick was pretty cool. Fury was awesome except Brad Pitt's unrealistic death (not much of a spoiler). Boyhood wasn't bad, Equalizer was the typical Denzel film but still decent. Keep it mind this isn't really me posting good movies, just new movies. I'm really looking forward to Poltergeist, Jurassic World, Avengers 2, Fast 7 and Star Wars 7.
I kind of had that feeling too, at first. but, I then looked at it from a realistic perspective and figured that wouldnt be possible. lol. So i changed my mind.
oh yeah the new sin city was cool, but the first was better, and gone girl was good. I enjoyed it.
A few named in here i'll have to check out.
Interstellar, Nightcrawler and The Drop are must see's too.
I saw the drop this morning lol Tom hardy is my dude felt the movie was 30 minutes than it had to be honestly
And didn't like at first how he seemed like an idiot talking with a small vocabulary and stuff but in the end it all
Ended up being good. I liked the quote about hell he made using nothing but 2 syllable words lol thought it was a good touch
tom hardy goes hard
lawless, warrior, bronson, bane in dark knight rises.. he does a good job playing beast roles
I just watch The Baytown Outlaws. Pretty dope movie I higly recommend it
Both ip man movies are sick on Netflix too
Dracula Untold is probably the best movie I've seen in a while. God, that movie was fucking dope.
The Maze Runner was actually really good too.
About to watch Nightcrawler tonight!
Fury was also really, really good. Highly recommend that one. Nothing else I've seen recently really worht mentioning. Didn't like Transcendence, too many plot holes.
Dracula was cool, just didn't like the corny effects used during the battles. Bram Stoker's Dracula is probably still my favorite version. Those interested in anime should check out Dance In The Vampire Bund.
Corny effects? Lol
Just my opinion man. I like effects in some movies but not when I watch a movie based on something like Dracula or any mythology based character.

With the exception of the 300 movies. Love both of them.
I just liked the fact that this is prolly the first Dracula movie where he was the good guy lol
Also Dracula vs batman was surprising,y good, I thought it was gonna be corny
Forgot about that one, I was super high and it was like four AM when I watched it.
Also the only dracula movie that has to do with the inspiration for the original dracula, Vlad III Dracul
I'll check it out.
The rover is worth watching. Pretty well rounded film.
Rover was really good, I missed a lot of it due to kids sadly so I was a bit confused by the main character's background story if there was one. I'll rewatch it now that I'm solo dolo.
Rounders on Netflix
