I like Rappers with vocab, show's they know how to rhyme something past "Ho, flow, go, no, whoa, oh, show." But some people overdue it and come off like nerds or do it to just make themselves sound smart. I prefer people who use high vocab when it's necessary like Big Pun, Pharoahe Monch, Ras Kass, Chino XL, K-Rino etc.

Word to this. I've been saying this forever. When you start using words that you've never used in a conversation, you've gone too far. I read a piece yesterday where the guy seemed to think "I must use at least 3 words that are never used by anyone, EVER, in each line of my piece." It's retarded. I never use words that I wouldn't use it a conversation or debate. Fucka dictionary poet/rapper.
