Im not gonna sell my K2... I'm just gonna cop another microphone to go with it. The K2 is a real bang for buck mic, even tho its 700.

o well, since your actually replacing the k2, you should probably look at a NTV or a Classic 2.
the NTV is discontinued but is known to be one of the best mics rode ever made. With its Jensen transformers in it and shit... shit was sickness....
its up to you man... there are alot of great mics in the price range of a classic 2 that are great mics.
