    Underground

    Underground Collab
Noble, Ace The Prophet, & ForeShadow

    Noble

My mind bending ism's, divert like prism's..
Creating a schism that offers opposite visions..
Decisions that could land you in prison..
Or convene you to accomplish lifes mission..
    Whatever your intention, just listen..
And realise its your time to be risen..
Empowered as people, and as a culture of kings..
Hip Hop as a philosophy has been buried it seems..
Whether its misdirection or less education..
The scholors of Hip Hop need to stop the degredation..
Every generation there's a false Idol holding the crown..
While real lyricist's underdround keep holding it down..
Am only a clown, or do a speak the truth..
These questions arise when im in the booth..
But I continue to fight and continue to write..
And trust that im right to get through the night..
its my intention to start an intervention..
inspite of the doubters that claim no one's listen'n.

    Ace the Prophet

Yeah, we admit there’s a game to revitalize
But hold up a second, we got wardrobes to stylize
Obsessed with all we get, what we did on our own
For diamonds, mink coats and that Diddy cologne!
Let’s get in the zone til we’re gettin’ it on
Always told keep it real but I’m spittin alone
But if you listen to the vibe of my syllables’ tone
You can see hip hop and how it’s vision is shown
An everyday youngin that lives in a throne
With dissipating funds that he’s willingly blown
On a fresh pair of Nikes, he’s kickin ‘em on
Leading his brigade straight into the unknown
Makin’ sure he don’t scuff ‘em to show he’s worth something
Workin in a little bass to get the place pumpin!
Raisin' up his hands just to get the place jumpin
Holdin out the microphone to hear ‘em say somethin!
Bump him, praise him, somebody save him
Before his own state’s local radio betrays him
And makes him commercial and sends him to the ground
So his heartfelt lyrics aren’t so sentimental now
Correct the misdirection, don’t let him steer away
If the tune is too low the turn up ya hearing aid
Just to give the gift of lettin’ him spit again
That is if hip hop is listenin’

Lets switch up the 'atmosphere' with my 'brother ali'
Sitting on the porch and he's just talking all mean
Then we spot a 'Cannibal Ox' chomping on dog spleen
Damn this is 'Surreal' but he licked the dog clean
Looked to the sky in search for some 'Organized Konfusion'
Found an 'Animate Object' the started the boozin
I stumbled upon a book filled with some 'Aesop' fables
Didn't 'Bucc Rogerz' teach me my times tables?
After tonight they better not stick me in a 'Cage' again
I'll punch him in his 'Crooked I' and fuckin slay him
Well we watched an indian movie 'Tribe Called Quest'
Then we happened to watch 'Jedi Mind Tricks' next
It sounds nerdy but I will master the 'Immortal Technique'
If I could only lift up my 'Little Brother' he would freak
My 'Brother Lynch' told me to chill with the 'Mind Tricks'
But I had no 'Apathy' just a clenched fist stupid bitch
Maybe we might finish this off with one more "Eyedea'
You're fucked if 'Sage' and 'Francis' couldn't stop your diarrhea
Can someone please tell me whats up with all of this
When I started it was just rap an not all this hip-hop shit

    Re: Underground

nice collab, nice topic, good message. yall flowed together well and each had something relevant and new to say on the topic, Foreshadow's display of creativity in his verse was nice, although doing that made the flow and rhyme complexity of your verse suffer, but overall nice joint.

    Re: Underground

All three verses were enjoyable to read. Overall I felt the first verse was well written and the rhyming was done well. With this topic there isnt a whole lot to tell as in story wise but I felt as an opener you approached the topic well. I felt that the material could have went in another direction in the terms of rather than self promotion type of idea and wahh noones listening. Im not meaning that in a negative way. Overall decent verse.

The second verse I thought had the punch factor and the more clever lines. Lines were interesting and all went together well other than a few here and theres that I felt could be altered but those are really hard to catch if its only you putting imput while writting. Good verse.

The third verse I thought was the hardest to read but the most intelligent. By intelligent i mean you did a fairly good job at putting the artists names in there and using them as nouns...etc. At some points it came off awkward and could have been used in another way but thats just my opinion. Good verse

    Re: Underground

Over all this was good had a nice flow all of you had a consistent flow with your verses and they all seemed the same, the message was worth the read and i liked the quote at the end, multis were good coulda bin more internals and metas were alright, but i really enjoyed this it was very true and a great writing i'd like to see it recorded underground some time. but the mainstream is taking away all the credit for us real lyricists...
anyways i think you coulda had more internals all of you but what really gave me the enjoyment was how you were all consistent and talked about the same thing but in different areas of rap, and the fact that you adressed it. although it's bin done you guys took it and made it your own
