    The King of Punchlines

Since I've been seeing all this "King of Pop," discussion concerning MJ a thought popped into my head concerning hip hop. I've been a hip hop junkie for my entire life, I think it started with Kriss Kross, then I liked Warren G a lot, even Coolio. Since my early days I think my taste has gotten a lot better, I've listened to all the classics and my favorite types of rappers are the ones that use heavy hitting punchlines.

So who do you guys consider to be the best at them? Because if you have some quality suggestions that I haven't heard of I would love to check them out.

My vote goes to Celph Titled, his punchline loaded rap style is just incredible to me, what do you guys think?

    Re: The King of Punchlines

yeah your right. But I mean hes still capable of pulling off tracks like MVP.
I could say thats more than what Chino is doing now, Chino's grown into a better emcee but had to tone down all his punchlines and he still a heavy simile user which gotta take points off. But I mean off his first 2 albums you can definately argue hes king of punchlines. I dont know, its tough because there isnt a healthy crop of punchline rappers left, most of them disappear or become irrelevant- cassidy, papoose, lloyd banks, etc..
    Hence Forward.. BURR!

Big L, because I feel like he brought it into rap more than anyone.

Like Elvis isn't the best at rock, but he's the king.

Big L back in his time his punches were killer.

    Chino XL

"My Ryhmes confuse niggas Like Puttin Homeless dudes on house arrest"

You niggas are naming some lame ass rappers tho...

JR writer? He can punch but the king of punchlines? If JR is the king what does that make cassidy? God? Cuz Cass has better lines than JR, And More Consistency, And I still Think He's not the king...

And Luda!? Wtf? he's not even a punchline Rapper!?

But More Importantly WTF smh @ game... Being the king of punchlines in anyones book...

Chino XL... The Most Consistency, and the Most Complexity/wittiness/delivery
