Haven't been here in a while, but I figured I would stop in and share something I recently wrote and recorded. Here are the lyrics:

She colored her hair in hazel,
Save for the flowing streaks of
Golden wheat. Crimson lips with
Hints of amethyst, and when she spoke,
You couldn’t detect a shred of regret
That her eyes were of a kaleidoscope.

She keeps her diamonds in the sky
For the world to cherish, giving Lucy
The credit to avoid attention:
She’s easily embarrassed, but to read
The prisms we never brandish?
That trait’s of a different merit.

She’s the girl with kaleidoscope eyes,
Holding a prism to our lives to see the
Shapes we create. She never reveals
The patterns we reveal. There’s no
Debate; it’s a vow she won’t break.

There's the
Pretty girl who hides
Away her face.
Is she scared of all
The shapes that
She’s seen?
Or is she scared of what
She sees
Inside of me?
The monstrous being that
I can be.

I promise I can conquer this
Monster in my mind.
Living inside my mind
Living inside my mind

I wish that she would show me
What it is that she sees
Staring at the sky
With kaleidic eyes.

Just give her a moment, she’ll shift her
Focus, and join you for a slow dance
In the sun’s eclipse. And when you’re
Finished, you’ll be the witness of a smile
Composed of topaz and wonderment.

But she won’t surrender her sapphire
Embers. They’re too precious, she’ll
Hold them ‘til forever, or until she finds
A man worthy of her hand,
He won’t ask for them anyways.

He’ll listen to the voice in her distant
Calls to see the light behind her prison
Walls. A captive of this world, but
Every shackle on this girl stands a
Reason why she captivates our world.

When she assembles her emerald tears,
She’ll expose a composure of memorable
Years and mortar strewn over hopeful
Cornerstones. Crying cities for herself,
And no one else.

And I wish I had the courage to stand in the
Sun’s eclipse, and wait for a glimpse of those
Crimson lips, and I know she knows
Everything that I was, but I hope she can see
Everything I could be.

And in the off-chance I should get a small
Dance, I’ll hold her serenity with soft
Hands so she’ll remember me while
Staring at the sky with kaleidoscope eyes.

I really did like the aspect of this piece lyrics were creative. Put into a track cant tell if this is your first time recording but your timing was off and your delivery was very bland it didn't stand out ur flow seemed like u were reading the lyrics. As a writer I like your style but you have to work on getting more comfortable on the mic I didn't hear the emotion at all. You have to portray it like your actually rapping it to this women make it meaningful.
