cats keep sayn dyanmic or condenser.

tha shure sm58, iz it gud 4 recordin vocals in studio 4 rappas since it aint as sensative as dem condensers....

or tha condensers like rode nt1, at3035, or akg's

evryone got dere own opinons but wuts really gud? shuld u cop a codenser if u jus gon spit vocals n dont gotta worry how close u iz ta mic, or cop a codenser 4 tha "warm" sounds like all dese cats b sayin

I dont know anyone who uses a dynamic in a studio for other than drums / or guitar.

Dynamics are used for live performance mainly, and condenser mics are used in studios.

that consists of 90% of the time.

and the fact u think distance from the mic is such a BIG WORRY, its not. yeah it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE, but just take your left foot, back it up 6 inches, and do the same with your right foot...TADAAAAA you are now 5-6 inches away from your condenser mic.
