the only record it's broke is launch day sales, which is because of preorders GTA is nowhere close to having the most sales of alltime, as a matter of fact, on launch day GTA sold about 3.6 million copies worldwide...
how many since it's first day?

Not many games lived up to the hype this gen but gta 4 definatly didnt
They went as realistic as a gta game has ever been, the whole fun of gta is doing the crazy shit, parachuting off a massive mountain, flying planes and crashin em
Once i completed it i didnt enjoy roaming just doing shit like i did in previous versions
Lets just say, gta4 was the first installment of gta's ever
People wouldnt believe how good the game was, but because rockstar set such a high standard with previous gta's, it just didnt match that standard.
I liked the story, the characters, i liked the city. It just didnt feel like gta should.
The way the character n story went, you were never gonna end up with loads of money, but i had half a mill in the bank, thats more than enough to live the "American Dream". Let me buy a few properties, a few businesses. Let me eat shit n become fat. You might think its petty but you could do it in S.A. n i thought you should of had the choice to do it in gta4.
No COD5? Probably Gears of War 2 for me..

GTA4 didn't live up to the hype that was built around it,yes the story was good as were the characters..but the missions were repetitive,especially early on,the online wasn't very fun at all.
It wont win GOTY.

i gotta say no game has impressed since oblivion endless amount of things to do espcially with all the downloads, and it combines perfect customization and a great storyline and even though its like 3 years old its still doper than alot of games
GTA IV isn't game of the year you have 3 open huge cities yea but they all feel the same! thats my biggest beef with it customization meh i couldn't care cause the driving was fun as is.
MSG4 im going with metal gear for game of the year cause it was a beautiful gam great story with dope gameplay especially considering Snake is old and slowing down and throws up and has back problems killer ending fight against liquid and big boss still being alive!
which brings me to my next thought what if you play as big boss in he next MGS?
i'll say it again. is this strictly off of campaign/story mode?
because the amount of people who are online in halo 3 can't be ignored.
