Its not a rpg

A rpg is where you completely control the character. you dont control kratos in the sense of determing his outcome, making him stronger, weaker etc. You only unlock weapons and upgrade them, shit you can do that in a shooter, but there not rpg's. Shit, god of war is a game completely on rails, you cant go back and forth to different locations, you follow one path.

By your definition of an rpg, almost every game ever released is a rpg then.
